David Briggs returns as Principal at LTC
David Briggs has returned to take up the role of Principal of Lake Tuggeranong College Lake in 2022. For David it continues a long association with education in Tuggeranong.
“It’s great to be back and I’m looking forward to being part of the significant work underway in the Tuggeranong Network of schools aimed at ensuring the best possible start in life for all of our young people.”
“I would also like to acknowledge the leadership and legacy provided by Julie Murkins over the past 9 years at the helm.”
Families and students can contact David at the college if they would like to discuss their educational needs.

The Capital Chemist College Scholarships are for ACT public school students who are in their final

University of Canberra Excursion
Lake Tuggeranong College students participated in targeted sessions to improve knowledge and understanding of tertiary health care courses and health care careers at University of Canberra.
The goals for this Excursion:
1. Assists in improving the understanding and awareness of higher education as a viable post-school option for persons from low SES backgrounds.
2. Assists in pre-tertiary achievement for students from low SES backgrounds, either at school or via an alternative pathway.
3. Education programs for parents of students from low SES backgrounds, particularly those with children who are first in their families to access higher education.
Students really enjoyed the day and got great information.

College Connect – Ukraine Charity Event
Earlier this week, the President of Ukraine gave an impassioned speech at the Grammy Awards.
He called for people to make music and sound, in a plea for justice for Ukraine.
On Tuesday, LTC held a charity event to support Ukrainian people impacted by the war in their country and LTC’s finest musicians made a lot of SOUND!
