LTC Students Hit the Airwaves

Over the school holidays, LTC students participated in the “Youth Takeover” initiative at CMS FM, aimed at equipping young media professionals with the skills required to broadcast on radio.

Students had a great time and presented on a range of topics such as social media, gaming and lockdown experiences.

Pre-service Teachers

We have 8 Preservice teachers from UC visiting us for 2 weeks. They are first year university students from a range of teaching areas who will be observing teaching at LTC.

One of the activities they engaged in this week was learning about the Vocational Educational and Training (VET) opportunities here at LTC. Attached are some photos of the group working with Darlene and building terrariums as they learned about VET competencies and how they work.

Please make them all feel welcome as they embark on the exciting career of teacher.
