Year 12 Furniture Making

The year 12 Furniture Making, class, were part of a one-day incursion this week to undertake a range of performance tasks and demonstrate their proficiency against the criteria of the three Units of Competency they are studying this semester.  The incursion was planned as a way to allow students, who have lost so much time due to the period of remote learning, to showcase their skills and complete the work necessary to complete the Certificate II in Furniture Making (MSF20113).  During the day, the students worked in teams to manufacture and fit out a series of melamine cabinets, the type your kitchen at home would be made out of, as well as constructing joints and a range of other related tasks

Online + Unleashed

The recent lockdowns have created many opportunities for change at Lake Tuggeranong College. The Year 11 and 12 Arts exhibition this year is being held online. Titled Online + Unleashed each member of the Arts staff will be showcasing the student’s work on You tube over the next two weeks. The online promotion has been posted.
