A Message from the Principal

You will have heard from the Chief Minister that the ACT will be in COVID-19 Lockdown until Thursday 2 September. Subsequently we will commence Learning from Home from Friday 20 August. (We will provide further updates tomorrow from the Education Directorate).  Students can prepare for online learning by:

• completing any current assessments and revision
• ensuring they have access to the Google Classroom pages for each of their subjects (contact the College if this is a problem)
• checking emails carefully for any messages from their teachers.
• Attending a Google classroom “Meet” this week to check in with teachers. (Students to check their google classroom pages for arrangements)

ACT SCALING TEST (AST) 2021

The ACT Scaling Test (AST) was scheduled for Tuesday 31 August and Wednesday 1 September 2021.

As the ACT is in lockdown, the AST has been postponed until Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 October 2021

A Residency at the Canberra Glassworks.

Our cover photo this week is of a a glass tile by Alexander Lai. Alex has recently been selected to participate in a residency for Senior Secondary students at the Canberra Glassworks.

Paths to Glass will provide Alex with a chance to explore new techniques in Glass Blowing and Lampworking.
