Julie Murkins new role and welcome to Mr Tom Kobal
COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT
LAKE TUGGERANONG COLLEGE
Dear LTC Community
I am writing to inform you that our principal, Julie Murkins, has been appointed as School Improvement Leader in the Education Support Office for 6 months with the possibility of extension. As School Improvement Leader, Julie will deliver supports for school leaders across the system, including the implementation of the Principal Coaching and Mentoring Program. Julie will commence in the role on Tuesday 9 March 2021.
Mr Tom Kobal will be acting Principal at Lake Tuggeranong College during this time. Tom is an experienced school leader who is currently Deputy Principal at Narrabundah College. He is excited to commence at Lake Tuggeranong College where he looks forward to working with students, staff and the parent community.
Please join me in congratulating Julie on her appointment and welcoming Tom to the Lake Tuggeranong College community.

Wacky Wednesday
During College Connect this week we all experienced a lift with Wacky Wednesday. An interlude designed by Darlene Smith in her roll as Year Co-ordinator. Our year 11 and 12 student where invited to “Flouro Up” and join the lunch time BBQ.

Careers Market
The Careers Expo provides the Year 11 and 12 students with the opportunity to speak with representatives from a wide variety of Careers organisations such as Defence, ANU and the Canberra Institute of Technology. The Careers Expo is being held on campus this Thursday 25th February.

Moderation Day
Moderation day becomes a chance to catch up on some work prior to the due dates, many of which follow the March 2nd Date.
