Day 1 Photo
Traditionally on Day 1 our new students gather for the Day 1 photo. In the image below we can see some of the organisation required. We are all very thankful that the ACT has not had to cope with the same social distancing or isolation in schools, for the beginning of the new term.
Whole School Photo.
A few moments before the big moment. The year 11 students gather as their journey begins, only two years it won’t last long. Many of us enjoying the contrast to last years start.
Encouraging Positive Behaviors for success
As the LTC students begin to attend classes and find their feet, so to does our campaign for maintaining positive learning environments within the college. The students have recently been attending a sequence of assemblies in order to raise awareness of the behaviors that can contribute in a positive way to their learning. Richard Fox, Deputy Principal Student Life, discussed the importance of positive behaviors. The social media post above, emphasises the message to the students that “Critical Instruction is given early in class time. Bringing the necessary equipment and engaging in class learning will set you up for credit points”.
