Students Need School Libraries: The Films – a resounding success!

As part of the soon to be launched national campaign, Students Need School Libraries, three talented LTC Year 12 Media students were commissioned to create a series of short films to promote the message. These films were launched at Lake Tuggeranong College Library on Thursday 20 September to a crowd of over 30 people.

LTC Teacher Librarian (and campaign coordinator for Students Need School Libraries), Holly Godfree, LTC Media teacher, Stefan Kussy, and Media student Andrew, introduced the campaign and the films to those that gathered and then showed a select number of films ahead of the national campaign’s official launch on October 16. Popcorn was provided for the audience in true movie-going style and the evening had a celebratory feel as the culmination of 18 months preparation came to fruition.

Congratulations to all who were involved in the success of these films and in preparing for the launch evening!
