Partnership between Stardust Day Care and LTCβs Early Childhood Class
Every Friday, the children from Stardust Day Care visit LTC to engage with the Early Childhood Class in play-based learning.
This week Jes started the session with a beautiful reading of Alison Lesterβs picture book, “Imagine.”
There was lots of discussion about favourite dinosaurs and identifying all the types of animals from the pages of this book.
Then, the little ones had the opportunity to engage in sensory play.
Tash ran a fun activity, experimenting with chalk colours; whilst Max, Sophie, Bronte, and Numpreem helped some of the pre-schoolers measure, pour, and mix homemade playdough.

LTC’s Book Week Parade
LTC came alive with literary enchantment during our Book Week parade! Students and staff transported us into the enchanting worlds of their favourite characters from cherished stories.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this year’s LTC Book Week parade a magical experience. ππ

LTC Drama and Music Students Shine at Miss Peony!
Lake Tuggeranong Drama and Music students had a blast at Miss Peony at the Canberra Theatre Centre!
The Belvoir Production, written by Michelle Law, is a light-hearted show, based around a Beauty Pageant to find 2023βs Miss Peony for Australia.
The characters were larger than life, and Sabrina – a Chinese-born Australian with thick Aussie accent and warm-hearted take on everything from BO to noodles – was a favourite with our group.
The pop music, in both Chinese and English, combined with the lighting and effects, brought everyone into the upbeat atmosphere.
We clapped along with the chorus as the actors came out for their curtain call.
Altogether, this was a day full of fun and a fabulous theatre experience.

Red Frogs Visit LTC
A big thank you to Red Frogs for their impactful presentation to our Yr 11 and Yr 12 TRaC classes!
Their program equips and empowers students to make positive life choices and be agents of change within their culture.

LTC Staff at EduTech Australia
LTC staff had an enriching time at EduTech Australia, Australia’s largest education event.
With a diverse array of conferences, seminars, and valuable networking opportunities, our team had an insightful and inspiring time and look forward to bringing the knowledge and inspiration gained from EduTech back to our LTC community.
