Literary Lunch
The 2020 Literary Lunch has been held in the Theatre. Speakers included Julie Murkins, Zak Finnemore, Jenni Holder and Emily Bissaker. All speakers engaged the audience and the range of topics included topics including ‘Fake Rap’ , ‘Fractured Fairytales’ and Julie Murkin’s, ‘Pigs (Just) Might Fly’.
Mr Waterford has had a number of long and distinguished career at the Canberra Times, most recently Editor and Editor at Large. Mr Waterford also spoke of some of the critical changes to journalism and the importance to all of us of real news as opposed to “click bate”.
