LTC Literary Lunch – tastes like success!

For the third year running,  the LTC Library Literary Lunch was a wonderful success. An intimate crowd were rewarded with:

  • ‘How to get started’ tips from emergent Canberra author, Cate Whittle (more about Cate and her work: https://www.catewhittlewrites.com/)
  • A rollicking poem, written and performed by our very own principal, Julie Murkins: ‘The Little Girl who learned to run… fast!’.
  • On the spot soul music, inspired by Nina Simone’s riff from ‘Feeling Good’, performed by Year 12 band, ‘Dead Language’.

A very big thank you to everyone who was part of our program this year, and thank you to those who came along to celebrate the spoken, written, and sung word. We look forward to this happening again in 2018!
