LTC students in Sydney for Japan experience

JF

The LTC Japanese class recently visited the Japan Foundation in Sydney where they immersed themselves in Japanese culture.

Students learned how to be dressed in yukata and dance traditional bonodori dancing. They learned about the Japanese furoshiki wrapping cloth culture and practised traditional wrapping. Students also learned manners and expressions for visiting a Japanese house and performed a role-play. After having lunch at a Japanese restaurant, they explored Japanese retail shops such as Kinokuniya book store and a Japanese supermarket.

It was a long day packed with fun and authentic learning experiences.
