NAIDOC Week at LTC – bush tucker garden

As part of the Naidoc week celebrations, Adam Shipp (pictured far right) from Greening Australia came to Lake Tuggeranong College and students helped set up and plant an Australian Bush Tucker garden.

Some of the edible plants included chocolate lily, yam daisy, bulbime lily, mat rush, native tea and native raspberry.

We look forward to seeing these plants flourish in the future and being used in some of our food classes.
