During the winter months, students have been taking advantage of the ‘Soup on Mondays’ program run by the school chaplain and student volunteers. The free soup is made from fresh ingredients on site, and served at lunch time with bread rolls donated by Baker’s Delight in Lanyon.
Favourite soups are spiced up pumpkin and chicken and corn. Parents, don’t be shocked that your kids are eating vegetables!
As the weather warms up, we’ll concentrate on healthy breakfasts at recess on Mondays and Thursdays. The venture is supported by the Student Representative Council (SRC), and paid for by donations from students, community supporters and funding from the college.
