LTC helps out with “Frog Watch”

It’s frog census week where information is gathered about the abundance and types of frogs in our area. Male frogs call out to the female frogs and we record them and gather data for “Frog Watch”. The Sustainability students are involved in this community service all this week and last night was our first night monitoring the local frogs. The image below was taken early in the night at our first location at Farrer Ridge with Martin Lind from Water Watch accompanying us for the census. We are monitoring a total of seven sites in the Southern Canberra area – we might be close to you next time with our torches, recording devices and click-boards.
